>  Can I use Pheno without joining?

Yes!  Everyone can read posts in the Discussion Forums, but you must join in order to post messages and connect with other Pheno Members.

>  How old do I have to be to join Pheno?

At least 13 years of age.

>  Does it cost anything to use Pheno?

No.  Using Pheno is absolutely free.

>  How do I change my username or password?

You can not change your username, so choose carefully.   You can change your password in the Settings tab on your page in the Pheno Community.

>  How do I change my avatar or update personal information?

You can change your avatar, as well as update other unique information about you, by editing your profile using the Profile tab on your page in the Pheno Community. 

>  How do I add/delete friends or send messages?

You can manage your Pheno friends, send messages, write on someone’s wire, and create groups on your page in the Pheno Community!  

>  Can I delete posts once submitted?

You can edit your post until someone responds.  Because your posts may be part of larger discussions among numerous Members, you can not delete posts once submitted.

>  How do I report violations of Pheno’s Terms of Use (i.e., abusive posts)?

Navigate to the Delete Account tab of the Settings section on your profile page in the Pheno Community.  Click the “Delete My Account” button.
